White Walls + Wanderlust


As much as I’m wishing that this title is a lie, it’s not. I really haven’t left the house since Saturday due to the fact that I’ve been on my deathbed. Okay, that was dramatic. But I’ve been pretty sick with a cold/cough that just won’t go away and haven’t felt up to going anywhere. Today I’m feeling way better and had to pick up a few things from Target (metallic flash tattoos and chocolate, of course) so I decided to venture out into the world, once again. I do apologize for the not-so-great quality of this, but at the time I had no one to take an actual picture of me so what’s a girl to do? This lighting does seem to create the illusion that I’m a lot tanner than I actually am though so I’m not complaining that much.

I kept it pretty simple today and gravitated towards my usual…

  1. Your daughter is just beautiful. I do have to say, although I don’t really know you, that perhaps she has inherited your ability to push through even the biggest challenges. Seriously, what is a girl to do when no one is around to capture her in the moment with a photo? 🙂 I am glad she was self-sufficient enough to still make it happen 🙂

    • She hits all the same challenges I do – such as dealing with odd signs and bad cereal. Just wait until she opens up the world of ladies cosmetics that I can only dream of.
